What's the Happy Haven Like?

Relaxing. We always feel like our nervous system just resets while we're here and our fur baby, Lulu, loves it too. From the moment we get off the freeway, she's at attention, staring forward through the windshield like she's willing the drive to be over. Our teenager has said, unprompted, on more than one occasion, "I love it here," with a wistful sigh.

We designed the cabin to be easy and comfortable. No need for coasters on the furniture! We've included supplies for you to get creative, and lots of books, puzzles, and games to keep things fun. However, we've found that our favorite time at the Happy Haven is spent looking at the skies or walking through the forest. The stars are so bright and plentiful, it's no wonder ancient civilizations were obsessed with them, and I've never spent so much time looking at the moon as I do from the couch through our 2-story windows.

Our space is also as chemical-free as possible. The cookware is ceramic-coated and the cooking utensils are wood, silicone, or metal. No black plastic here! Also, all of our body products and cleaning products are non-toxic and fragrance-free. You'll sleep on 100% cotton sheets (yay!) and wrap yourself in 100% cotton towels. We also have plenty of extra blankets and throw blankets in every room if you need an extra layer to snuggle up to.
